They’re always accusing people of stealing. It happened to me, my mother, and a friend of mine. We have NEVER stolen from this store. We are not thrives. But we have spent hundreds of dollars there. Never again.

I have shopped at Kate's for years and have always had a wonderful experience - until this morning. Everyone has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. This morning I went to buy some oils and they had 4 of the 5 that I wanted. I took them to the counter with the tester of the lemon, which they were out of. I asked the clerk - a new one I'd never seen - if I could buy the tester since they were out of them. Her reply "Nope" -- Clerk, how about "No ma'am. I'm sorry we aren't allowed to sell the tester" She was rude - completely unprofessional. So I just put everything back - not going to buy as long as she's at the register. The other ladies in there are so kind - where did this one come from????

Typically come to the deli because the smoothies are good and the co-op doesn't make them. Service at Kate's isn't great. Just had bad experience with deli where I stood and waited while the lady cleaned dishes and then asked if she could help me minutes later, I asked for a smoothie, and she said it's 4. I told her I stood and waited. It still isn't even 4 right now and I left the store a few minutes ago. She didn't have to be rude, make it my fault, and say it was past time when it wasn't closing time (their closed sign wasn't up at the counter either).
