If you're visiting from out of town, go to Higher Love! Really good selection of treats. Loved the fast acting vegan gummies and the extremely premium Royale mint cookie chocolate bar! Prices were good and the staff was friendly every time we visited. Great dispensary

All of the staff there is amazing, I've developed a good relationship with one of the Budtenders named Meg, shes awesome everytime and goes above and beyond to help me find new things, as well as just nice conversation! The look and the friendly staff always keep me coming back!!

I don't see this ever becoming a five star review, regretfully. I had expected it would be, but after some recent changes I've had to lower it to three stars instead.
The main reason this was four stars is that they didn't stock as good of products here in the Marquette location as at their Munising location. The selection of flower in Marquette remains mediocre, even including the store brand (Ottawa Innovations) selection here. Sadly OI has set forth some frankly quite bad strains after a run of some great stuff, so a poor selection of mostly those and a handful of their better strains doesn't count for much here. It's begun to feel like picking through a clearance bin just to find something smokeable.
As for concentrates, I've given up on looking for those here; the selection of concentrates here in Marquette caters to dabbers and other casual smokers like them whether it's your standard cheapo dabs or an simply infused pre-roll, there's almost never anything for people who like smokable hash. When there is, it's usually just one awful strain that costs more than I've paid for a better hash product during 'prohibition'. As it is, I've made better hash than you can find in stores now, including this one. Given the absolute dearth of hash now, I'll return to making it myself in 2023.
However, an increasingly-frustrating problem is the consistent failure that's the online menu, something that hadn't been as bad when I first left this review. Products are almost always incorrectly entered, so sorting products listed on it doesn't work right both because of that and other mistakes. While it no longer crashes on order, this problem has actually gotten worse to and that's on Higher Love to fix. It is bad enough now to be part of lowering my rating.
Initially I left this review because of how badly a decent dispensary was getting review-bombed by non-customers. Enough inflated reviews have been left by people who wanted to be entered in a drawing so that reason no longer matters. What does matter is that I'll be looking into the other dispensaries that will be opening in the future. This is still the best of what's around in August 2022, but it's not great. Not anymore.

Nice, clean layout with good product lighting. Overall theme is pleasant and eye pleasing.
Excellent selection without being overcrowded, easy to browse products.
Budtender was knowledgable, patient, and efficient.
Prices were a bit steep, however: flower was legit fire. Excellent terp profiles and trimming. I also like the packaging and logo.

Ever since the boom of new shops in the area this was the first Dispensary I went to. Staff was welcoming and helped me find the right strain for me. One of the first two I tried actually ended up becoming my favorite of almost any other strain I’ve tried anywhere. With reasonable prices and excellent customer service, would absolutely recommend this one.
