I flew into Bangor from Vegas the other day. Since this is my first time here I checked around and found that Brothers was going to be close to me. When I went there everyone was very friendly. The ganga is excellent, much better than I ever got in Vegas for the past 5 years. The budtender gave me a veterans discount which was greatly appreciated. I'm moving to Bangor soon and will be there often.

Great options, but the lack of detail on the cards in front of the prerolls about what strain is what and the effects was very frustrating and made me wonder how this place has such a high rating (maybe people are just super excited that they can buy legal recreational weed). My bud tender - who was super nice - really had little information on the types of strains and was looking it up on Leafly or Allbuds and reading it to me. I can do that myself, and don’t really want to be staring at my phone while I’m shopping - half the strain names are made up anyway so who knows if online is accurate (the manufacturer should smoke their own stuff and have a description that they can provide to the retailers). If they added some info like sativa, sativa leaning hybrid, hybrid, indica leaning hybrid and indica on the cards in front of their prerolls, and the effects, it would have avoided me getting frustrated and wanting to go to any of the other 10 dispensaries in the area. Towards the end, he pulled out a ‘cheat sheet’ paper which was super helpful. I don’t know why they don’t put a menu or info on the cards to help make a more educated decision. I also don’t know why Maine doesn’t offer Pre-ground 1/8 and 1/4’s. Besides that, the place was fine.

I had never been in a 420 shop before. Michael was awesome and very informative. He didn't talk down or make fun of me. I knew the effect I wanted just didn't know any names. He explained the different options, showed me what was what. I couldn't believe they have 420 already rolled into joints then I asked about edibles. Once again he had to explain the differences. I got the caramels.
I am definitely going to return.

The employees were super helpful and nice, but I bought a Treetop Hemp Co delta 8 pen that wouldn't charge. Can't get a refund and can't get a new one. Bummed to be out $60.
