Great dispensary, awesome tenders, great quality cannabis, for an affordable price.
Seems hard to find GOOD QUALITY that's also affordable lately.

Edit: I am editing this review because they refuse to listen to me. I have told 2 budtenders now, over a course of weeks. They have multiple strains that are labeled wrong. Yet, they won't fix such a simple mistake.
It amazes me, that these budtenders don't, know what strains are what.

Great dispensary, but don't take their word for it. Look up the strains before you buy them. Because the budtenders don't know what they are.

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend Elk Mountain and i will absolutely be returning. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

I m a old school burner from the seventies, but too many corporate dispenceries are taking over the mom and pop stores in Colorado.... But wait...
You gotta visit Randy and staff if you're any where near the I - 70 corridor between Glenwood Springs and Utah border.
Exit 62..Debeque Colorado.
ELK MOUNTAIN has great flower, and pre rolled at fantastic pricing plus the usual A to Z products.
Debeque is a cool town too.
Good people, good product, good prices.

Only sampled a gram of Kong today but way friendly honest pricing and the Kong has a great long lasting high. Definetly will be a return customer.

My second visit today, way awesome experience. Patient bud tender and way cool staff. Im one western Colorado resident that will shop here exclusively in the future, the one on one care was truly informative and the 6$ grams always leave an affordable option to enjoy. Only thing that could improve these guys is out the door pricing. But the patients of my bud tender made up for it, he took the time to max my purchase ability with what I had to spend, so no complaints really, fair , friendly, and helpful. My best dispensary experience so far. Thanx Elk Mountain.!!

I've lived in Mesa county less than a year.
In that time I've visited all of those few dispensaries on this most western side of the state. Including the 1 medical. (I hold a medical card)
Most are good, some are ok. But I've found Elk Mountain, has been hands down the absolute best.
A truly relaxed and human experience, is happily provided by owners and staff.
Who are straightforward, down to earth and completely genuine, caring people.
You'll always leave feeling very thoroughly cared for, here.
I've a strong sensitivity to fertilizers and other non organic products used in much of the cannabis industry.
So, if you too, can taste that odd or chemical taste when those products are used. You will be thrilled here.
Dirt grown, organic...
makes a vast difference to the discernible connoisseur.

I was in the shop the same day as the incident with Nicholas Halmerl , here's what really happened!!!! I was in line in front of him we waited around ten minutes, I was called to the counter moments before him. The budtender that came from the back to help very upbeat and in a great mood said " can I see your ID?" How's your day?"what can I help you with?" Then it begins! Nicholas Halmerl says I want so much of such product, budtender replies " I apologize we sold out of that product" in which the rude Nicholas Halmerl became loud and stated "that's false advertisement! " that's a big NO NO you could get in trouble with the better business bureau" you need to take it off your board" getting louder continues to ridicule the budtender who keeps his cool and apologizes again. But Nicholas Halmerl is not done yet he continues " I'm in retail I know the rules " this goes on for several minutes while the line grows and people patently wait there turn. The budtender calmly says " sir I'm going to have to ask you to leave" . The staff handled the situation amazingly! I am a true regular here I come in several times a week love the staff ,shop,owner they are always in a great mood, service is amazing and there product is the best they're is!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work! Y'all are doing an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a mixed experience here. The gentleman that was working tonight was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly (on the phone and in person).

The woman who greeted me (Shannon or Sharron, I believe), was not. I had just left Kush Gardens (they were sold out of what I wanted) and there I was told that I was aloud to just present my temporary license (the laminated one you get from the DMV while they send your new one) as id and that this was new, as they were not allowed to before. I tried to inform her of this as I looked through my purse for my old id.

I stated, "I was just at Kush Gardens and they said..." and she cut me off and said, "well go there then". She must've assumed I did not have the other id (which I did) and was trying to get out of it or something because I was an airhead and stuck the old id behind some cards and it was talking a while to find it and I offered my school id. I totally get why she would think I didn't have it at this point but that doesn't give cause for rudeness and she was extremely rude.

When you work in customer service you should really try to be nice to your customers. I could have been a new customer, told my classmates about them, and promoted their business, instead it's the opposite.

I will not be returning but definitely give a thumbs-up to the guy that was working tonight (I wish i would have gotten his name) he was awesome, I have zero complaints about him, even if he hated me I couldn' tell, that's what good customer service is all about. 👏

P.s. do not buy gorilla glue (gg) from any shop in this area, it sucks.

I've been to dispensaries from Debeque to Denver, Elk Mountain is absolutely the WORST dispensary that i have ever had the displeasure to enter.

Where to start, the big bearded ape with a gun at the front counter, completely unfriendly and rude. Didn't greet me just stood there and stared at me.

Their flower is over priced and all smells like it hasn't been cured correctly.

The worst part is the older hippy looking lady who was apparently the owner or manager. Everyday Elk Mountain runs a special at 4:20, i drove all the way from Grand Junction to make it there in time. Arrived at 4:10 and had a few people in line abead of me. When my turn comes the lady tells me that i had to be at the register at exactly 4:20 to get the special.... What?? Both people ahead of me were in line @ 4:25 and got there's. However, when i got to the register she told me that because i was at the registsr at 4:27 i didn't get it lmao.... To which i replied "wow that's lame". The lady the begins to freak out and asks me to leave the store!!! Wow, that's all i have to say.....

Do yourself a favor and avoid this dispo like the plague, rudest, most unprofessional, bunch of yahoos i have ever experienced..... Go to Kush Gardens, Tumbleweed or the Green Joint they will treat you immensely better and have immensely better product.

Usually went to Kush Gardens but thought I would try Elk Mountain. Very inexpensive dirt weed as you can see!

I was super stoked to come visit and see these super deals but by the time I was done I actually ended up spending more here than other places! And I dumped it out when I got home on this paper and decided to not even smoke it! It looks and smells roach infested like roaches crawling in sewer not skunk!

They treated me rudely and kept saying I am sorry you feel that way, Feel that way! I don't feel anyway other than ripped off! They kept offering me these so called great deals but then when I saw some of their so called quality I was truly disappointed!

In the end my total was well over $30 a gram for this garbage as seen in the picture!

Great looking buds ,the owner is so awesome! Anytime I'm in the area I definitely come check them out.
